¿Colgarías un retrato de un completo desconocido en tu casa? Yo sí, sin duda, siempre que sean retratos con historia, como éstos que vemos aquí y con ese aire tan glamuroso que tienen los de los años 30, 40 y 50 (sobre todo los femeninos). Aquí van algunas ideas y de paso, vuelvo a enseñaros el mío, que bien podría pasar por uno de la época por el peinado – unas ondas al agua- y que pertenece a la serie POP-traits de mi amiga María.
Would you hang in your home a portrait of a person you don’t know at all? I would, absolutely, but it should have a vintage touch or be special for some reason. I post here a few images of portrait paintings from the 30s to 50s -I guess-, that I find so lovely and glamourous, mostly of women.
