Aquí os presento mi rincón de plantas aromáticas. Quizá las plantas más sufridas y fieles que tengo en casa. Las delicadas plantas de interior se ponen todas mustias en cuanto me olvido de regarlas unos días y sin embargo, aquí están ellas, las fuera de serie, aguantando sin rechistar el largo frío invernal (doy fe que las heladas diarias de este invierno las pasaron a la intemperie) y los implacables calores veraniegos. Y no sólo resisten junto a los cactus, mirándolos de tú a tú, sino que, con poca agua y casi ningún mimo, me regalan a diario su olor, de vez en cuando alguna flor y siempre que quiero ahí están para condimentar las comidas y para animar algún que otro mojito… Y la colección sigue creciendo. Esto no lo mejora ni la ingeniería genética. 100% naturaleza pura. ¿Qué, os animáis?

Here they are my beloved aromatic plants. I love them because they offer me their beautiful smell, sometimes a flower and I can always use them to flavor the meals or even prepare home-made mojitos;). These incredibly hardy plants have resisted the below-cero temperatures of this winter and the dog days of summer, without even noticing (and I must say: outside!) while my interior plants suffer when I forget to water them for a few days… I think this is perhaps the main reason to love them so much. And I keep on buying more plants. 100% natural without any genetic ingineering in it. And what about you, do you already have your own aromatic plants’ corner at home?
