Is there any better plan for a sophisticated sunday than having a deep look through the Yves Saint Laurent et Pierre Bergé collection catalogues at Christies? It’s amazing to see all the beautiful objects they kept just for themselves at home. To give just an example, the box in the image, made of gold and mother-of-pearl, from 1747-1748 has an estimate value of 8.000€ to 12.000€ (and I’ve counted 20 more boxes in the same style…).
