Ana y yo nos conocimos en un frío invierno londinense de hace un montón de años, tantos, que da cosa hasta decirlos*. El caso es que la talentosa Ana,
Ana M. Silvar Bouck para ser más exactos, gallega del Ferrol, viajera impenitente y residente actualmente en Utah, EEUU -hasta que recibamos un nuevo mail de cambio de dirección… ;)-, es una
pintora y restauradora de formación y de corazón, magnífica retratista, políglota, gran persona y una artistaza a la que admiro sinceramente. Ah, y con un currículum de esos de enmarcar. Así que cuando hace unos días caí en la cuenta que todavía no le había dedicado un post en el blog ¡¡casi me da algo!!. Aquí os dejo una pequeña muestra de su trabajo en distintas técnicas:
lápiz, pastel, acuarelas y óleo. Yo no me canso de mirarlas una y otra vez, especialmente los retratos…
Ana and I first met in a London chilly winter time a long, long time ago (it’s almost embarrasing to say how long ago*…). The talented Ana, Ana M. Silvar Bouck, is spanish from Galicia, a continuous traveller – she lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA-, a polyglot, a great person and an amazing artist. You can see her also amazing CV here... The fact is that taking into account that I admire her so much, I can’t believe I hadn’t posted her paintings yet. Better late than never, here you have a sample of them, made with different techniques such as pastels, pencils, watercolors or oils. I adore her portraits!!

Pero qué jóvenes éramos… [] I still remember being in London when Freddy Mercury died, so it’s easy to calculate. We were so young!
