Basta con ver su recién diseñada colección de papeles para la firma Porters Paint para darse cuenta que Anna tiene un estilo propio, y que es capaz de dar a cada proyecto que emprende un sello característico, único. I actually love anything she does. Such a pity they’re sold in Australia (can’t figure out shipping prices for Spain =S)
Pues sí, hagan juego señores. Señoras y señores, para ser políticamente correcta. Y es que esta mañana, al descubrir estas delicadas piezas de porcelana sueca ¡! que toman a los 4 palos de la baraja francesa como motivo para sus diseños no he podido dejar de preguntarme qué otras cosas habría por ahí para decorar nuestras casas con tréboles, corazones, picas y diamantes. Reconozco que, cuando ví las fotos de esta oficina de Chicago de la interiorista Summer Thornton en el último número de Matchbook, sinceramente, lo primero que pensé fue ¡¡qué locura poner un papel así en la pared!!. Pero una locura tan maravillosa, que tenía que compartirla, y de paso, preguntaros qué os parece poner un papel tan llamativo en un espacio de trabajo. A mí me resulta una idea genial, porque estoy segura de que ni un solo cliente que pise esta oficina se irá indiferente ante esa invasión floral. (Ja, ja, a mí me ha dado por las rayas anchas en blanco y negro…) [] When I first saw this floral invasion in the Chicago based office of interior designerSummer Thornton I thought to myself «that’s pretty crazy», but still I love it, and I’m sure that nobody leaves that office without remembering the wallpaper for a long time, no matter if they like it or not.
